Recent Capture by Marlin’s Video Monitoring Division Utilizing Dedicated Micros Network Viewer

Upon receiving a standard burglary signal on a video enhanced security system, Marlin Central Monitoring Video Division Operator noted suspicious activity on the premise of one of our security dealers accounts. Upon video taping the activity and archiving the information, the operator was able to forward this archived information to our Dealer, the Dealers Customer, and the Police while dispatching took place. The perpetrator was captured and arrested prior to the vandalism or theft that was about to occur. Utilizing the enhancement of Video Alarm Event Verification, many more false alarms and their associated fines have ceased and the success rate of captures have significantly increased. It also appears that the word is out on the streets after such an incident, and that the recurrence of such violations on accounts that have CCTV/DVR and outsourcing the monitoring for immediate dispatch have sent the thieves to other premises that are not yet using the technology and sophistication of this type of protection.
